WW - Omega Cosmic Moonphase Calendar, ref 3944, circa 1950s, manual wind, 32mm x 44mm to lug tips, 20mm lug width, original 14K gold square snap back case with fancy stepped lugs and an even dark tarnish, black leather strap, original silvered dial with applied gold indices and a date scale along perimeter in blue, day-month apertures inset at 12, phases of the moon inset into the subsidiary seconds at 6, 17J cal 381, mvt s#12592728, case s#11116483, triple signed.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, calendar functions and advances properly, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, no oxide; nearly flawless dial with very light surface spotting; excellent-plus gold hands; lightly polished case shows very little wear, crisp hallmarks, no dents or dings; original signed crown shows hardly any wear; good plastic crystal.
